| Finding
Print or Microfilm Copies of Periodicals
Online access to articles
is great, but there are times when you will need to find a paper copy of a periodical:
- Sometimes a publication
is only available in the print or microfilm collection.
- If an article is only available
in HTML format, graphics (photographs, charts and other illustrations) are usually
not included. You will need to retrieve the paper or microfilm copy.
Search the "Magazine,
Newspaper and Journal Holdings List" from the Library's home page to see
if the Library should have a print or microfilm copy of the article you need.
Print periodicals for the
current year are located in the Periodical section of the first floor of the Library.
They are shelved alphabetically by title. Ask for older print issues at the Circulation
Desk.
The microfilm collection
is shelved in black cabinets in the Periodical section on the first floor of the
Library. A Library staff member will show you how to print articles on microfilm. |
