Publications which are issued at least twice a year, including journals, magazines, and newspapers are called periodicals. "Current periodicals" are those which have recently arrived. In Jefferson College Library they are on open shelves on the first floor. Ask for older issues at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Some back issues are available in microfilm. For example, the Library has copies of the New York Times from 1950 - 4/20/94 on microform.
