Fast Course Intro To Computers - This course is a very basic introduction to computers. The class starts with computer concepts and explores basic navigation such as mousing, the cursor, the desktop, and the taskbar. The fundamentals of word processing are covered using Word 2007. Students are introduced to basic file browsing and file management, moving photos from a digital camera, downloading files from web pages, and web basics. The course wraps up with topics such as email, email attachments, email security, viruses, and scams. This course will be taught on an IBM/PC compatible computer; for maximum benefit, students should have personal access to one. A book is included within this fee.
