Floral Design I

In this course we will cover the basics of floral design, with an emphasis on size, shape, color, texture and much more. We will be working with fresh flowers for the first 3 sessions, then silk and dried florals in the last session. Additional expense will be incurred with the use of fresh flowers. A list of supplies not covered by the course fee will be provided during the first session. Bring scissors and wire cutters to the first session.

-
In this course we will take Floral Design to a whole new level! Prepare to be astonished, inspired and excited at the beautiful arrangements we will create. This course will focus on arrangements for special occasions including: weddings, birthdays, holidays, etc... We will also cover the basics of large-scale design, oriental design, asymmetrical and mirror-image design. We will be working exclusively with fresh flowers and live plants.
