Animals were obtained from Jefferson County Animal Control to be used in the humane training of veterinary technicians.  New animals become available for adoption approximately every 8 weeks during the academic year, so check this site often for that perfect addition to your family!

All pets have been thoroughly examined (many times!) by the Veterinary Technology students.  Animals that enter our program with treatable medical problems (heartworm positive, parasites, etc.) are given the appropriate care and deemed healthy prior to release to their permanent home.  While no animal is intentionally infected, these animals provide valuable training for future veterinary technicians and make excellent pets following treatment.
